Brought up on the Beatles and Joni Mitchell, swept away by Miles and Bill, Evans, honing his guitarist's skills on folk and jazz improvisation, Eric Daniel has become a key figure in a new generation of instrumentalists who resolutely defy categorization, crossing the boundaries between jazz, pop and rock which is, in a very real sense, progressive.
