Bio
Bass clarinet and soprano sax. Classically trained but veering towards jazz and improvisation in his teens studying saxophone with Thierry Maucci in Marseille.Soon became interested in music from the Balkans and was inspired as much by Bartok and Berg as Ryley and Glass. Founder member of Monkomaroc with whom he recorded four albums; (Three of which on the German label Enja). and toured extensively abroad. (Kuwait, Ukraine, Cameroun, Chad, Morocco…).
